The new pricing was on Thursday morning and it'll be in place as long as supplies last. Walmart previously offered the smartphone for $188, so you're now saving yourself $40.
While Walmart's deal is a rather decent one, you should not forget that the iPhone 4S will feel a bit outdated within about a month. Estimating that the next-generation iPhone is announced on Sept. 12, it is expected to hit store shelves by Sept. 21, according news and reports.
